This morning I went to the Pima Air & Space Museum. I was there when they opened the doors at 9 AM and left around 11:45. By then I had seen so many aircraft that I couldn't come close to keeping them straight. It is a LARGE place. I didn't go in to half the buildings. I did take the tram tour that went by all the planes on the outside. The tram driver/tour guide shared a wealth of information about the aircraft we saw. Kathy wasn't that interested in going so she stayed at home.
We had our pork sauerkraut and mashed potatoes for New Years Day dinner. It was great, as usual.
We had planned on going to Kartchner Caverns in the afternoon but I didn't feel like going and Kathy didn't mind staying home for the afternoon also. I'm fighting tooth problems and it was acting up in the early in the afternoon. It doesn't hurt really bad but it is annoying. I'm hoping it is just an infection that I can beat. If it keeps acting up I'm hoping to be able to wait until we get to Oakland to have something done.
It was warm, high 76, and windy here today. It was cool enough while at the museum that jeans and a jacket felt good. This afternoon shorts and no jacket were fine.
We hope to do some more sightseeing tomorrow and plan on staying in Tucson tomorrow (Mon) night. I can't imagine any place having better weather than what we have had here, except for todays wind. The wind isn't supposed to be as bad tomorrow and Tuesday.
Good night to all and may God bless you and yours.
