The weather is a little cooler this week. The overnight low was 56 and todays high was a cloudy, somewhat breezy 65.
We did get out of the campground today. We went to Golden Corral for lunch. Their Senior Early Bird lunch is by far the best deal around. I think it costs $21 for both of us, including drinks.
Then we went to HEB for groceries, picked up some prescriptions from Walgreens and bought a replacement duplex outlet at Johnny's True Value Hardware. Everything was within 3.5 miles of the campground. Johnny's is a real, honest to goodness, hardware store. I'm definitely going back to spend several hours checking it out.
Back at the campground Kathy walked up to the clubhouse and worked on a puzzle. My Fitbit says that I walked 1.7 miles during our outing. In the afternoon I rode my bicycle 3 laps around the campground, only a total of 1.75 miles. It continues to amaze me how much stamina I lost when I quit exercising during my treatments.
God is good. I pray that He blesses you and yours as He has me.
