March 6th - Cold & Icy

Temperature got down to 12 degrees last night. It was the coldest night we have spent in the motor home. The good news is that nothing froze. Today's high was 35 and tonight's low is forecast to be 20, then things warm back up and dry out a little.

The driveway was a little soft when we backed in and parked. but only right out next to the road. The photo below was taken before we got the snow and ice.

The photo below was taken on the path that is the "shortcut" to Tom & Mary Lou's. There were 2 areas like this, where the ice (the ice that came last week) caused small pine trees to fall over.
The photo below shows another pine tree across the path. This one has a butt diameter of about 12".

I took the photo below at our place this morning. It doesn't even come close to showing how beautiful the new ice looked, especially with the awesome blue sky background.

The trees in Tom & Mary Lou's drive way were equally as beautiful.

Tom came home from the hospital today. His back is still very sore, and stiff. We are certainly praying that things improve soon.

Time for supper.

May God bless you and yours.
