More snow yesterday and last night. We received 6-7 inches of new, WET snow. The 6-7 inches of dryer snow we received last week had compacted to 3-4 inches, but not much had melted.
This was the view when I went out and filled the furnace with wood this morning.
It took me about three hours to clean our driveway this afternoon. I'm confident that we can get out in the CR-V, out to the road. I'm not sure that my truck will make it out, but we don't have to get it out.
We are supposed to get another 1-2" of snow tonight.
Our power flicked off several times between 6AM and 9AM. It would come back on almost immediately, up until just after 9AM. That time it went off and stayed off until 5:50PM. Mid-afternoon Kathy turned on one of our gas fireplaces and it never got below 70 in the house. Last nights overnight low was 34 and todays high was 36. There was no wind today.
Good night to all. May God bless you and yours.
