Nothing exciting happening today. We went to Sunday School and Church this morning. They had a guest Pastor speak again. They are searching for a permanent Pastor. I've heard this guy twice now and I just can't see him making it as a pulpit preaching Pastor. He might be okay in a one on one setting, but neither Kathy or I can follow his messages. He hasn't said anything we think is wrong, its just that his messages don't seem to flow to a conclusion.
I finally found a work around for posting photos. It seems that either blogger or Internet Explorer has changed something and now they won't "talk" to one another when trying to upload a photo.
This is the wood I split, by hand yesterday. We still have plenty of split wood, probably enough to last through next winter. I just need some exercise and it is a good way to get rid of some wood that I probably would have burned on a burn pile during the summer. It is fine for burning during the day, when I can add would a couple of times if I need to. Actually some of this is good stuff, suitable for keeping a fire all night long.
After I filled the boiler the other morning the combustion fan started running and this was the result. As you can see, there wasn't any wind.
Andy took this photo a few nights ago. Lydia has been working on crawling up into the bottom of the entertainment center (bookcase) for a few days. This was the first time she made it all the way in.
