Another nice day, but a little cooler. High was supposed to be 66 but I kept a jacket most of the day.
I didn't finish all the priming today, but it finished me <grin>. There is still some high eave work that needs primed. At lunch I told Richard, the guy I work for, that I would have everything that I was willing to prime finished today, for two reasons. I'm not climbing up on anything more than the 10' step ladder that I have been using (also using a 6' step ladder) to paint the underside of the overhanging eaves. Also, my shoulders (rotator cuffs) have had enough painting over my head for awhile. No problem with him. He will find something else for me to do tomorrow. (My shoulders aren't painful, but they are starting to complain some while I am painting over my head. It is just time to give them a rest.)
We are leaving here and heading north on Friday. This has been a great place to spend some time and it would be easy to spend another couple of weeks here, but it is time to move on.
We are not going to Alaska this summer. We will make our way back across the northern tier of states and drop back down through Iowa to Missouri, no stopping to volunteer at camps along the way, but taking our time to look at the country as we go.
We think we go up to Seattle, WA, then cross through the northern part of Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and drop down through Minnesota into Iowa and finally into Missouri. The trip will be around 2,400 miles (from here to Anchorage would have been about 2,200 miles, and then another 4,000 to get to Missouri from Anchorage) . We plan on arriving in Missouri in mid-June, a few days before we take possession of our house.
After we get our things from TN moved into the new house we aren't sure what we are going to do.
By the way, three good, and free <grin>, meals again today.
Good night to all and may God bless you and yours.
