Kathy stayed home cleaning and working on a puzzle at the clubhouse. I spent 6 hours working up at the Cowboy Church (my last work day of the season at the church).
Manny, a local guy, and I finished installing the top of a wall between the men's and women's restroom. Visiting with him was interesting. I learned a lot about different local things. When we went to lunch we drove by a grove of orange trees. Some of the trees still had oranges on them while the vast majority had been picked. Many said the unpicked ones were "male" trees and that the fruit was not the same as the female trees. He also gave me insights into sugar cane planting and harvesting.
I think it was the hottest day since we have been down here. The restrooms where we were working were not air conditioned. It sure felt like the hottest day. The "official" high was a sunny 85.
God is good. I pray that He blesses you and yours. He has blessed me.
